CALLING ASPIRING ACROBATS!
Audition for our Acro Competition Team!
Not your “extra class.”
This is the room where kids stop trying tricks and start building real athletic skill.
If your child is hungry to train, loves a challenge, and lights up when they’re working toward something big… our Acro Competition Team is where that drive turns into confidence, strength, and stage-ready performance.
This is for the kids who don’t just want to participate…
They want to level up.
What it is
Our Acro Competition Team is a coached, structured training program designed to develop:
Power + control (not just “throwing skills”)
Clean technique (the kind judges reward)
Flexibility + mobility (done safely, progressively)
Movement & Partnered skills (timing, trust, communication)
Performance quality (polish, confidence, presence)
Consistency under pressure (the real secret weapon)
It’s acro with with performance focused goals. With a team around you.
Who It’s For?
This team is best suited for students who:
- Show strong focus, coachability, a positive attitude and work ethic
- Want to train regularly (and push themselves) and are consistent with attendance and training
- Handle feedback well and want to improve
- Love performing and/or are excited by competition
- Can commit to being part of a team culture (supportive + accountable)
And for parents who want their child to compete to build confidence and have fun doing it… without dance mom vibes.
You don’t need to be the “best in the room.”
You need to be the kid who willing to try, to become your best.
What your child gets (aka the real value)
Most kids do classes. They learn a few skills. They have fun.
That’s great.
Competition training gives something different:
✅ Confidence that sticks (because it’s earned)
✅ Body awareness + strength for life
✅ Resilience (learning to miss, adjust, come back stronger)
✅ Discipline without pressure-cooker vibes
✅ Belonging (team culture is everything)
✅ Pride (they did something hard… and proved it to themselves)
This isn’t just training for medals.
It’s training for identity and belief: “I can do hard things.”

Competition preparation phases
Training is coached with clear standards, clear progression, and clear feedback—so students always know what they’re working on and why.
-
We train hard — and we train kind.
We’re building athletes who:
support teammates
show up with a growth mindset
keep safety and technique as the priority
learn professionalism early (warm-ups, focus, respect, responsibility)
This is a team environment that builds leaders, not egos.
-
Competitions vary year to year, and 2026 is CIrcArts first year running an acro comp team, so we will be taking things slow, but the goal is consistent:
students perform routines they’re proud of, at a standard that reflects their training. We plan training cycles so routines aren’t rushed, bodies aren’t pushed too fast, and progress is sustainable.
-
Is this only for “serious kids”?
It’s for kids who are ready to take training seriously in a healthy way. They can still be playful, silly, and themselves — we just bring structure, standards, and goals into the room. -
What if my child is nervous?
Nerves are normal. Confidence is built through reps, support, and small wins. We coach the mindset as much as the skills. -
That’s not a “no.” That’s a “not yet.” We’ll recommend a pathway and goals so they can re-audition stronger.
