MEMBER TERMS
How CircArts weekly memberships work: fees, minimum term, cancelling, pauses and make-up classes.
Version 2.1, last updated 29 October 2026
CIRCARTS MEMBER TERMS
These terms apply to weekly memberships with CircArts Pty Ltd (ABN 59 601 144 754), trading as CircArts Geelong, Warehouse 33, 33/8 Lewalan Street, Grovedale VIC 3216 ("CircArts", "we", "us"). They work together with our Terms and Conditions and the participant agreement and media consent you sign in Momence when you book.
Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
1. HOW MEMBERSHIPS WORK
You choose how many classes a week you want, then book your regular classes in Momence, our booking system.
Memberships are billed weekly through Momence.
When you join, you pay your first week plus any one-off fee in section 2. After that, your membership is billed weekly.
Current weekly prices are on our Pricing page and in Momence when you join.
We may change our weekly prices. We will email you at least 14 days before a new price starts. If you don't want to continue at the new price, you can cancel by email before it starts, without waiting for your minimum term or notice period to end.
2. ONE-OFF FEES WHEN YOU JOIN
Kids and teens: a one-off $149 Registration + Welcome Kit (CircArts tee, grip socks and Skills Passport).
Adults: no joining fee.
Aspiring Artist Program (Emerging Artists): a one-off $249 joining fee, which covers registration and a full uniform.
Returning students who have held a CircArts membership before don't pay the Registration + Welcome Kit again.
Tiny Circus has its own pricing, shown on the Tiny Circus page.
Welcome Kits ($149 for kids and teens, $50 for Tiny Circus) are non-refundable.
3. LOVE IT GUARANTEE
If your new membership isn't right for you, email us within your first 4 weeks and we will stop it with no notice period. For Tiny Circus this is called the Happy Little Mover Guarantee.
4. MINIMUM TERM AND CANCELLING
Memberships have a 12-week minimum term. After that, they continue month to month until you cancel.
To cancel, email geelong@circarts.com.au with 4 weeks' written notice. Your membership and weekly billing continue until your notice period ends, and you can keep coming to class until then.
If you cancel within your first 12 weeks, your membership continues until the 12 weeks are complete or 4 weeks after your notice, whichever is later.
Aspiring Artist Program (Emerging Artists): a 12-month commitment, with 3 months' written notice.
Please cancel by email. Cancelling single classes in the app, or telling a coach, does not cancel your membership.
5. MISSED CLASSES AND MAKE-UP CREDITS
Can't make a class? Cancel it in the Momence app at least 6 hours before it starts and you will get a make-up credit.
Book your make-up class yourself in the Momence app, in a suitable class with space.
Make-up credits must be used within 3 months and can't be used for holiday workshops.
Classes missed without cancelling in the app at least 6 hours ahead don't get a make-up credit.
Unused make-up credits end when your membership ends.
6. PAUSING YOUR MEMBERSHIP
You can pause your membership for up to 4 whole weeks each calendar year.
Email geelong@circarts.com.au at least 7 days before the pause starts.
Need a longer break for medical reasons? We may approve a medical pause beyond your 4 weeks. Medical pauses are at our discretion and need a medical certificate.
7. PUBLIC HOLIDAYS, SUMMER BREAK AND CLASS CHANGES
Weekly fees are not pro-rated for public holidays.
Summer break: regular weekly classes don't run from 21 December 2026 to 17 January 2027. Holiday programs, workshops, private classes and parties still run.
If we cancel a class, we will give you a credit, or a refund for that class if you ask for one at the time.
A substitute coach is not a cancellation.
8. CHANGING YOUR MEMBERSHIP
To change your membership, for example from 1 to 3 classes a week, email geelong@circarts.com.au.
Changing membership doesn't mean paying the Registration + Welcome Kit again.
Aspiring Artists need to give 3 months' notice to move to a smaller membership.
9. PAYMENTS
Please keep your payment details up to date in Momence.
If a payment fails, please update your details straight away. While fees are unpaid, we may pause your bookings until your account is up to date.
10. IF WE NEED TO END A MEMBERSHIP
We may suspend or end a membership if fees stay unpaid after we have let you know, or if a student or family seriously or repeatedly breaks our studio rules, behaves in a way that puts others at risk, or breaches our Child Safe Policy.
If we end a membership, weekly billing stops from the date it ends.
11. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
If something isn't right, please email geelong@circarts.com.au so we can sort it out with you.
When we update these terms, we change the version and date at the top of this page.
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria.
