Loic is a French National sports acrobatic champion and former trainer at the Ecole de Cirque de Quebec amongst others. His students have gone on to perform in Cirque Du Soleil and other top companies accross the world. Marques specialises in acrobatics and coaches a large range of apparatus to a high technical level (trampoline, Korean and Hungarian teeterboard, Russian bar, hand to hand, banquine, handstand). He possesses a vast knowledge in biomechanics and analyses of acrobatic movement, with expertise in practical and theoretical physical preparation.

End of Year Showcase 2023

Get ready to be amazed and entertained like never before! CircArts proudly presents the End of Year Showcase, featuring our wonderful stuednt performers in Geelong, Victoria, Australia.

From November 20th to November 26th, the showcase will run every evening at 6.30pm from Monday to Friday, and at 1pm, 4pm, and 7.30pm on Saturday.

This showcase is the ultimate celebration of everything our students have learned and accomplished throughout the year. From dazzling aerial acrobatics to jaw-dropping contortion, our performers will leave you on the edge of your seat with their incredible feats.

Step right up to witness an inspiring showcase of circus arts in Geelong, Victoria, Australia! Our circus school is thrilled to present the Mid-Year Showcase, featuring an extraordinary lineup of student performers who have been working tirelessly to bring you a performance that will leave you in awe.

From June 17th to June 23th, the youthh showcase will run every evening at 6.30pm from Monday to Friday, and two shows on Saturday 24th 11am and 2.30pm. In addition, there will be an adults-only show on Saturday 17th at 8pm

This showcase is not just an opportunity to witness the incredible talents of our students, but also a chance to support and empower them on their journey towards achieving their dreams. Your attendance at the showcase will boost their confidence, morale, and motivation, and help them realize their full potential.

For our students, performing in front of a live audience is a transformative experience, and your presence at the showcase will make them feel seen, appreciated, and supported. By cheering them on, you will play a vital role in their journey towards excellence.

Students, come one, come all! This is an opportunity for students of all ages and abilities to get onstage and perform in front of a supportive audience in a relaxed studio environment and get feedback on their acts! You can perform a full act, or even some work in progress! Its all about helping you as a performer and celebrating what you are working on, even if it's not fully complete! :) The best way to get more confidence onstage is to get onstage more often. This event is to help you do just that! We encourage you to make something up and perform it! Open training times can be booked through the app so you can practice!

GUESS WHO'S BACK?!! We are so excited to be bringing Internationally trained kiwi base (a person that lifts/throws other people) Soloman Riversage BACK to Geelong this March! The last workshop was a roaring success and we had amazing reviews from all who attended... and many have begged us to get Soloman back ever since! Soloman is known for the clear systems and structures he develops for acrobatic and performance practice. With over ten years of experience teaching and performing, he has a particular skill in helping people hit their acrobatic goals. Watch out for his impassioned rants and rambles about some obscure technical detail or another.

All acrobats and aspiring acrobats welcome. If you are serious about taking your partner acro or acrobatics to the next level, you'll make time to be at these workshops!

With a career spanning 20 + years, Actor, physical comedian, mime artist, and dancer, Rod Lara has been hailed as a "master of physical comedy and characterisation. Rod strives to push the envelope with his unique brand of comedy, utilizing the skills of physical comedy, circus arts, mime and dance.

Trained in the circus arts, as well as holding a degree in Film & Television from the Victorian College of the Arts. Rod's knowledge in these fields has helped him undertake his very own prolific productions.

We are very excited to be hosting a two part workshop series with Rod at CircArts. This workshop is essential for any student wanting to take their performance abilities to the next level by exploring characterisation.
