Discover Aerial

For the climbers. Kids learn to climb, hang, wrap and hold beautiful shapes on aerial silks, trapeze and lyra, building real grip and upper-body strength with safe technique from day one.

Ages 5–11

Discover Acro

For the kids who cartwheel down the hallway. Rolls, cartwheels, handstands and partner balances, broken into small steps so they build strength, alignment and confidence every week.

Why parents choose CircArts

More than a class. A place they belong.

Circus will give your child something rare: a challenge that feels like play, and confidence as they fall, try again and succeed, learning resilience along the way. That feeling follows them to school, to the playground and into new friendships.

  • Confidence they earn. Every skill is broken into small, achievable steps, so they feel progress every single week.
  • Taught by real circus artists. Our coaches perform and train, and they teach because they love it.
  • Strength and technique first. Safe progressions, proper alignment and strength before height.
  • Everyone belongs. Non-competitive and inclusive, including many neurodivergent kids who have found their people here.
  • A real stage. Every student can perform in our end of year show.

Where it can lead

A clear path, from first class to the stage

Kids move up levels by mastering skills, not by birthdays. Some train once a week for the joy of it. Some go all the way.

My son Jamie has started at CircArts recently and has really come out of his shell. I love how when I pick him up he is chatting with all his new friends and talking about all the new skills they have learnt that day!

Watching these kids, from age 5 right up to 16, exhibit the most amazing, jaw-dropping courage… If you're a mum looking for a place where your kids will build serious bravery, CircArts is a total winner!

CircArts has been a wonderful experience for me. I used to be really shy… breaking down every skill and taking steps really slow, I can now easily throw new skills that I used to be too scared of doing.

Good to know

Questions parents ask

Does my child need any experience?

None at all. Our Discover classes are made for complete beginners. Coaches break every skill into small steps and adjust them for each child's strength and confidence.

Where do teens start?

Ages 5 to 11 start in a Discover (Level 1) class. Ages 12 to 17 start in a Beginner (Level 2) youth class. Students with lots of gymnastics experience often start in Level 3 or 4. Text us on 0489 082 643 and we'll suggest the right level, or see our teen classes.

What should they wear?

Fitted activewear: leggings or bike shorts and a fitted t-shirt. No zips, buttons or jewellery, hair tied back, and a water bottle. Most classes are barefoot or in grip socks, and grip socks are included in the Welcome Kit when they enrol. Unicycle and Circus Skills classes need closed-in shoes. Members also get a CircArts tee.

What if they miss a class?

Cancel in the Momence app at least 6 hours before class and you'll get a make-up credit to use in another class within 3 months.

How does the membership work?

You pay your $149 Welcome Kit and first week upfront, then classes are billed weekly. If it's not for you, stop within the first 4 weeks with no notice. After that there's a 12-week minimum, then it continues month to month. To stop, email geelong@circarts.com.au with 4 weeks' notice. You can also pause for up to 4 weeks a year.

How do they move up levels?

When a coach sees your child has the strength and skills for the next level, they'll do a quick check with a coach from that level. Kids move up when they're ready, not because of their age.

Is it safe?

Safety is built into how we teach: strength before height, crash mats under every apparatus, small classes and coaches with Working with Children Checks and first aid. Skills progress step by step, and aerial work starts low. Our coaches are experienced and all go through our in-house coach training program, and our Evolving Leaders program grows the next generation of safe, confident leaders.

Can my child add extra classes?

Yes. Members can book extra casual sessions any time at the discounted member casual price. We suggest 3 sessions a week to see progress every week.
