Good to know

Teen class questions

My teen has never done circus. Where do they start?

In a Beginner (Level 2) youth class. The Starter Pass gives them 3 classes in 14 days to try different styles before joining.

They did gymnastics or dance. Can they skip levels?

Often, yes. Students with lots of gymnastics experience often start in Level 3 or 4. Coaches assess every new student in their first class.

How do teens move up levels?

When they are ready in skill and focus, not because of age. If your teen feels ready, ask us to assess them, or coaches will let you know.

How many classes a week?

We suggest 3 sessions a week. That is where you see progress every week, and the 3x membership includes free open training.

Can teens perform?

Yes. Level 3 and above classes perform in our end of year show, and teens can audition for the Aspiring Artist Program.

What should they wear?

Fitted activewear. Bare feet or grip socks for aerials and acro, closed-in shoes for Circus Skills and Unicycle.
